Today July 13, 2024, a gunman attempted to assassinate the former president, sending shockwaves through the nation and the world.
The rally, held in Butler, Pennsylvania, was intended to be a platform for Trump to address his supporters and outline his vision for the future. However, what was supposed to be a routine political event quickly turned into a scene of chaos and fear.
As Trump took the stage, shots rang out, disrupting the rally and sending attendees scrambling for safety. The Secret Service, ever vigilant, immediately sprang into action, surrounding Trump and whisking him away to safety.
Trump, who was seen with blood on his face and a visible injury to his ear, was quickly attended to by medical personnel. Despite the traumatic experience, he managed to raise his fist in defiance, shouting “fight” to the crowd before being escorted away.
