Where Can I Best Help in This Election?

I’ve been asking myself this question for some time now. After moving back to Florida in 2020, my husband and I joined the Broward County Executive Committee (BREC). I have also worked as a poll watcher. During this election cycle, I’ve decided I need to do more and have been looking for opportunities. I think I have my answer. I need to volunteer where I do my best.

This week, I joined a Defend Florida Zoom meeting with literally thousands of other participants. The speakers were motivational and also gave me some insight into the organizations they represented. I’m sharing my notes from that meeting today:

  1. Captain Maureen Bannon, Stephen K. Bannon’s daughter, spoke first. She reiterated what her father said before he left to serve his sentence: “ACTION, ACTION, ACTION. Don’t write letters to him, merely show up SOMEWHERE and DO SOMETHING!”
  2. Catherine Engelbrecht, founder of True the Vote, spoke about her organization’s efforts to ensure election integrity. True the Vote has filed lawsuits to get mail-in ballots routed back to local voting precincts to be counted there. Learn more at: Election intelligence | True the Vote
  3. Gregory Stenstrom, founder of Patriot Online, discussed his organization’s efforts to match up ballots with voter rolls to identify any potential unqualified voters. They recently won a defamation case with 15,000 duplicate ballots, and this evidence was entered into discovery. 4. Dan Schultz, founder of the current precinct strategy, Precinct Strategy – Home emphasized the need for states with legislative majorities to dictate how elections will be held. He is proposing one-day paper ballots, mail-in ballots only for military service members, and the requirement to show ID when voting.
  5. Robert Beadles: Robert Beadles: The California native trying to upend Washoe politics (rgj.com)
  6. Harry Haury a former NSA/information systems administrator, is focused on ensuring valid and legal elections throughout the election process. His organization, U4F – United Sovereign Americans (unite4freedom.com), seeks to have a system that is designed to be provable.
  7. Linda Rantz, founder of Cause of America, discussed her organization’s efforts to train people on hand counting. They have a 2-minute tally demo on their website: Cause of America
  8. Linda Szynkowicz, founder of Fight Voter Fraud, Fight Voter Fraud | One Vote For One Legal Voter™ discussed her organization’s efforts to challenge voters. They have voter rolls for all 50 states and have matched them up to identify potential issues.
  9. Terry Rapoza, a California radio host, emphasized the importance of knowing your state’s constitution and educating your people. He suggested his website, YourNews.com, for more information.

There are many ways to get involved in this election, and it’s important to find the one that best fits your skills and interests. Whether it’s working with an organization like True the Vote or Cause of America, or volunteering as a poll watcher or precinct captain, every effort counts. Let’s all do our part to ensure a fair and free election in 2024! Thank you to Vigilant Member for providing us with your note and thoughts on this topic!
